As a family run and operated business, we like to treat each customer as a unique case. Which means before any work is started in our fully equipped workshop, owner Craig will take the time to fully explain what work is to be carried out and why it needs to be done.

This means that customers are always informed up front and that there are never any nasty surprises when it comes to paying the bill for mechanical repairs or preventative maintenance.

A proud local business owner, member of the community and happily married with three children, Craig enjoys mentoring and coaching juniors at the Laurimar Football Club when not working hard in the workshop.

Craig originally started his VACC apprenticeship in 1998 after completing VCE at Montmorency Secondary College and spent the first two years working at a general workshop, which handled all types of mechanic repairs.

Following this, Craig then moved to a Volvo workshop where he spent the next 12 months. Before finishing his apprenticeship working on small trucks, mid-sized trucks and a large variety of passenger vehicles.

Craig’s extensive time in the automotive industry, has seen him work on all types of makes and models as a qualified mechanic, since receiving his accreditation in 2002.

Previously joining the team at R&J Automotive in 2012, which had a long history stretching back to the 1970’s, Craig’s passion saw him take ownership of the workshop in 2017 and the rebranding of the business to CW Automotive.
